Maharashtra’s warm climate and abundant agricultural residue make it an ideal region for biomass briquetting. Large quantities of sugarcane bagasse, cotton stalks, soybean stalks, groundnut shells, corn waste, wheat straw, paddy straw, and jowar residue are readily available and can be directly utilized for manufacturing biomass briquettes (White Coal).
The state offers tremendous potential for biomass briquetting plant installations, creating additional income for farmers, generating rural employment, and promoting effective waste management. With more than 650–700 successful installations of Briquetting Machine and Briquetting Plants across Maharashtra, we have contributed significantly to renewable energy adoption and employment generation in the region.
As industries increasingly shift from fossil fuels to clean energy solutions, Maharashtra continues to emerge as one of the most promising markets for Biomass Briquetting and Waste-to-Energy projects.
